Design: Museum and exterior exhibit design including content development:
graphic design, CAD drawings and original photography; 2D and 3D design of
exhibit components; fixed site multi-media development.
Project Management: All aspects of project management and scheduling for assigned exhibits; development of design briefs, research and coordination of exhibit content development working with park staff and outside sources; curatorial responsibility for artifacts; contract award management; budget, contract and exhibit fabrication management.

Photographer: Documentary photography of historic industrial
sites and workers. Architectural photography and studio photography
of museum artifacts. Technical documentation of archeological sites
and artifacts. Darkroom work including making prints from historic glass
plate and nitrate negatives and production of archival and exhibit black
and white prints. Several documentary projects were also shot in video
which required ability to shoot video, light scenes and produce audio
tracks. Managed darkroom activities. Worked closely with curators to set standards for photography
in museum environment. Wrote and illustrated grant documents and gave
Museum Exhibit Design: Design of the display and graphics used in Hagley Museum exhibits. Starting with the development of the exhibit “story” or underlying theme, through production of concept drawings, detailed working drawings, and finally supervision of actual installation. Initially all drawings were produced on paper at the drawing board, this eventually moved to full computer based CAD drawings. The design position also included production of printed collateral material and design of text labels and environmental signage. Produced architectural, editorial and instructional communication
photographs. Location photography in black and white and color for
an array of clients who used work in print and multi-media products.
Work included black and white darkroom work and programming of multi-projector
slide shows using AVI equipment. Extensive use of electronic flash
lighting. Camera formats from 35mm to 4x5 used to produce the photos.

Macon Telegraph and News, Drinnon Studio Division, Macon, Georgia
Editorial and Commercial Photography: Drinnon Studio was a self-supporting
division of the Macon Telegraph and News newspaper that provided
a wide range of commercial photographic services to central Georgia
and back-up support for the editorial department of the newspaper.
This position involved the production of editorial, architectural,
and commercial photographs using 35mm, 120 and 4 x5 camera formats.
The position also included substantial amounts of black and white,
and color darkroom work using E-6, C-41 and EA4 processes. Many of
the commercial assignments included extensive electronic flash lighting
setups. The majority of the photography was produced on location.
The largest outside customer was Mercer University which used the photographs in all their publications.
